CALMVOLT CARE GUIDE

Know your cabin care.

From choosing the right filter to keeping your cabin comfortable. A practical guide to AirCore and optional AromaTabs.

Fitment & filter location

Choose Model 3 or Model Y for your configuration; no model-year selection is required here. Before ordering, check the production date, market and existing cabin-filter housing and dimensions against the fitment guide. Selecting a model does not confirm fitment.

Inside the cabin

AirCore is designed for the two-filter cabin HVAC location in Model 3 and Model Y. Compare the installed filters and housing before fitting.

A different filter location

Intake pre-filter accessories and the separate underhood HEPA/carbon assembly fitted to some vehicles are different parts. AirCore is not a replacement for that underhood assembly.

Generation names such as Highland, Juniper or YL alone do not establish compatibility. If the housing, fasteners or filter dimensions differ, ask for a fitment check before installing.

AirCore construction & evidence

Purple pleated filter media, an activated-carbon particle layer and black honeycomb support make up the existing AirCore design. The centered white holder accepts one optional, solid-white AromaTab at a time.

The filter media and carbon have different roles; the AromaTab provides a scent choice. A pleasant scent is not evidence of filtration performance and should not mask persistent musty smells.

How to understand a performance claim

Look for the exact product and version, test method, conditions and whether the result concerns the media, complete filter or vehicle. These scopes are not interchangeable.

For a particular specification or report, contact us with the claim and product you want to check. This guide does not assign a filtration percentage, HEPA grade or service-life guarantee to AirCore.

What's in your set

1 AirCore set = 2 filters

The current set pairs two cabin filters with the listed trim tool and L-shaped driver. Check your selected product listing for the supplied contents.

2 AirCore sets = 4 filters

Two complete filter pairs. A set is not a single filter.

AromaTabs are optional and priced separately. Keep filter only, select one scent, choose any three (repeats allowed), or choose the six-scent pack. Only one AromaTab is installed in the centered holder at a time.

Installation, by vehicle configuration

Start with your vehicle model, production configuration and market. Choose an official reference below only when its vehicle scope matches yours. These are vehicle instructions, not proof that AirCore fits that configuration.

Filter care vs optional fragrance

Filter care

Follow the vehicle and filter instructions, your driving environment and actual inspections. Check a visibly loaded or damaged filter, unusual airflow or persistent smells; replacement alone may not resolve an HVAC problem.

Optional fragrance

Change or remove the AromaTab according to preference and actual use. Perceived strength and duration vary with airflow, climate and use. No fragrance is a normal choice.

Tesla's maintenance guidance is an original-vehicle reference, not a tested AirCore lifetime. Use your vehicle's current manual and Maintenance Summary where available.

Troubleshooting & support

Airflow changes or a new noise after installation

Compare the fit, seating, covers and orientation with the correct vehicle instructions. Do not force a part that does not match. If the issue persists, contact qualified support.

A musty smell does not go away

Several cabin or HVAC conditions can cause persistent smells. Check the filter and seek service if needed. Adding fragrance is not a diagnosis or a repair.

The filter looks different or the model choice was wrong

Pause installation. Prepare the model, production month/year, market and clear photos of the filter and housing. Cover personal information in photos; a full VIN is not needed for an initial enquiry.

The scent feels too strong, or I prefer no scent

Stop using the AromaTab and follow the product instructions to remove it. AirCore can be configured without added fragrance. Do not stack AromaTabs or modify the holder.

For a burning smell, electrical symptoms or an unfamiliar component, stop work and contact a qualified service provider.
